Eon Engelbrecht eon@knysnafm.co.za
Eon Engelbrecht (or 'Spuddy' as he is known to his family, close friends and colleagues) is Knysna FM's youngest addition. Eon (22) is on air presenter, music manager and news compiler at Knysna FM. He has been involved with radio since the age of 16 and when he doesn't have the microphone in front of him, he is running around behind the scenes. Since a young age, Eon drove his parents nuts and all he wanted was one thing- not cars, not lego, but a microphone. At first they thought he would be a famous singer, but after his drop out from choir, radio called him. His love for the media hasn't stopped since then and he is also the editor of the Knysna Online Newspaper, Look for it. "It's a burning passion inside, not a job", Eon says. Catch him on the airwaves Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 09h00 - 12h00.
